Unique works where traditional craftsmanship meets architectural conservation.
PROJECTS
REPRODUCTION OF HISTORIC CEMENT TILES
We are dedicated to the faithful reproduction of cement tiles present in emblematic works and cultural buildings. We carry out meticulous craftsmanship to achieve an exact colour match, create custom moulds and replicate the original texture of each tile, ensuring that each piece retains the authenticity and historical character of the space.
At Mosaics Torra we reproduce the original cement tile flooring of the Casa Museu Gaudí, matching colours, textures and designs to faithfully preserve the modernist spirit of Barcelona.
We reproduced the cement tiles of Gaudí's bedrooms in La Pedrera, recovering geometry, texture and original character in key spaces, respecting their history and restoring their beauty.
At the Palau de la Música Catalana we restore floors in corridors, staircases and the concert hall, faithfully reproducing the cement tiles to preserve the authenticity and artistic value of the building.
We restored the cement tiles of the Hospital de Sant Pau, reproducing original designs in corridors, rooms and singular spaces to conserve their modernist identity and heritage value.
How do we work?
Original cement tile
(01)
The cement tile to be reproduced is studied, as well as the size, colours and possible textures.
Mould making
(02)
Creation of a completely handmade brass mould, achieving an exact replica of the original tile.
PROTOTYPE TILE
(03)
Manufacture of the first cement tile replicas. The accuracy of the replica is compared and validated with the customer.
Hydraulic soil production
(04)
The total set of cement tiles is manufactured with the characteristics of the parts already validated.
