Conseils; Quels revetements poser sur chape liquide

You are about to install a liquid blanket in your room, and it's time to choose your sun coating. But what kind of coating can you put on a blind? ASS 34 advises you to choose the right type of coating.

What to do before applying a sun coating on the liquid blanket?

Once your liquid blanket is in place, you must ensure that it dries completely. To do this, you must respect the complete drying time. You can also check the residual humidity level. Please note that the drying time is different depending on the type de votre chape liquide. In fact, a cement sheet dries faster than an anhydrite sheet, as the latter does not contain any mortar.

In addition, it will be necessary to remove the oil before the application of your sunscreen. This operation should be carried out 7 days after the coulage and at least 10 days before the application of your coating.

In addition, if you have installed a solar heating system, it must be in operation. This is to ensure that your cover is dry before you put it in place. You must also ensure that it is flat and horizontal. If this is not the case, a sunbed should be applied to make the sheet as flat as possible. Finally, it is important to clean the plate to remove all impurities and debris.

the different types of coatings compatible with a liquid blanket

Fluid sheets must necessarily be coated with a sol coating. Most sunscreens are suitable. This will depend mainly on the use of the inner part or the external area covered by the sheet. Although many coatings are compatible, please note a few things before applying the coating.

Le carrelage

You have opted for a carrelage sunbed in ceramic, stone, clay, clay or for natural stone floors. The carrelage is the most durable sun covering on a liquid sheet. It is easy to install, easy to find and adapts to all budgets.

There are several ways to attach your wheels to your liquid tyre. You can clip them directly on to the cap. You can also opt for clip-on reels. This type of fixing is quick and easy to install as it requires neither clamps nor joints. If one of your reels is damaged, you can replace it without difficulty. However, this type of carriage lacks resistance and is available in a few colours.

You also have the possibility to collect your carrelage. The glue is the quickest and most commonly used method. However, please note that for a concrete plate, a cement-based adhesive is recommended to ensure a fast and durable bonding of your carriage. While for an anhydrite plate, use an anhydrite-based plate, or use a plate made from cement after having installed an anchoring primer.

Concerning the size of your wheels, you are free to choose the ones that you prefer to place on your liquid cap. However, please note that there are some restrictions in the case of a heating solenoid. For low-temperature heating suns, where the width of the carrels is not sufficient, you can place a carrel of a different size than the standard one (60 x 60 cm or 40 x 90 cm). However, in the case of other heaters, the carriage size should be standardised to avoid the risk of the carriage or joint cracking.

In addition, in order to choose the most suitable carrelage for your heating in the sun, take into account the thermal resistance of the material used: this varies according to the type of heating you choose (water or electric).

 Solid or stratified wood flooring

Do you prefer a parquet style coating? A parquet floor is quite possible on a liquid surface.

The parquet can be laid using three methods: laid in three different ways: collapsed, cloudy or floating.

The cloudy laying is the traditional method for wide, massive parquets (> 22 mm). It is carried out on a support such as soles or lamellas.

The collapsed pose can be carried out directly on the plate or on an acoustic under-couche where the cartridge collector is placed in the interstices.

The floating position is the simplest and quickest method. The boards are detached from the support but assembled either on the collars (hung parquet) or on the clips.

In all cases, before deciding on a fixing method, seek the advice of your craftsman. He or she will be able to give you the best advice on the most appropriate choice.

However, if you have a liquid floor with a waterproofing board, please note that you will not be able to install a hardwood floor because it is irreconcilable. In fact, the wood parquet, or “bout de bois”, is made of wood flooring, it is sensitive to variations in humidity. Il ne peut donc pas être être collé sur un sol chauffant. However, in the case of a low-temperature sealed board (PCEBT), this type of parquet may be possible, subject to the advice of a professional.

 Le revêtement souple

If you opt for a simple coating, you can fix it in different ways. It is possible to create a collapsed, adhesive, clipped or even free-standing position.

There are different types of soft coatings. You will find PVC and linoleum coatings which are perfectly adapted to a liquid sheet.

Until recently, the sol vinyl was presented in long rolls available for cutting. Un conditionnement qui ne facilitit ni le transport ni la pose. De plus, la fine épaisseur du produit imposait de le coller. Today, however, you will find soft coatings in the form of self-collapsible, clip-on or clip-on PVC dowels.

Within the range of soft coatings, you will also find the jonc de mer moquette. This type of coating can be directly attached to your liquid canopy, it can also benefit from a double-face adhesive coating.

In some cases, it is important to prepare your sheet when applying a thick coating. In the most common cases of renovation, laying a smooth coating on a floor requires, first of all, the application of a coating. The latter allows you to prepare the surface.

Enfin, dans les cas d'un plancher chauffant, il est impératif que le revêtement choisi soit adapté.

 Peinture ou de résine

Paint or resin type soling coatings are particularly suitable and are good alternatives to liquid sheets.

If you decide to paint your paintwork or apply a resin coating, please note that there are recommendations to be followed. Firstly, your paint must comply with DTU 59.3, class of solvent paints. Also, the sun paint applies as for all paints. The application of a liquid paint with the sun base coat is an essential prerequisite if you want to obtain a good hold of the sun paint that is going to be applied. It allows you to achieve a good fit of the painting system by the suite. Une fois cette dernière sèche, il ne vous reste plus que à peindre votre chape liquide.

Concerning the resin coating, it is more technical. The resin is a bicomposite, composed of resin and a hardener. It requires an under-couche to avoid the risk of clogging. You must then apply a protective film to make your solarium unassailable and smooth. The application of the protective film requires real know-how. It is therefore recommended to call in a professional for an optimal result.

But the coating in paint or resin is much more pleasant in everyday use. The surface is easily removable with water or daily detergents. These sole coatings do not crack under repeated wear and tear, and are resistant to gravel or wear and tear. The colour can also be easily changed to match the interior decoration.

A line or a paint can be applied on a smooth surface, including with a rubberised surface. However, it must be adapted.
