At Mosaics Torra we are manufacturers: we make cement tiles, terrazzo and bespoke pieces by hand, taking care of every detail to offer aesthetic, functional and long-lasting solutions. The same artisan tradition we have kept alive for decades, today also in worktops, basins and furniture.
Our story began in 1975, when the Torra family started out in the world of handmade mosaic tiles. Years later, in 2004, the company was formally founded Torra Artesanía en Mosaicos, S.L., with the aim of recovering the essence of the traditional cement tile floor and adapting it to today's needs.
Today, as Mosaics Torra, we combine decades of experience with technical and aesthetic innovation, and we have brought that same craft to terrazo y a las bespoke pieces.
All our cement tiles are made by hand, tile by tile, by expert craftsmen. We use original metal moulds or faithful reproductions of Modernista designs, following the traditional process. It is the same craft with which we shape terrazzo and bespoke pieces: character, strength and a unique beauty in every piece.
Our work draws on the Modernista tradition of the early 20th century, when the cement tile floor became an essential element of Catalan architecture. Today we continue that legacy by working on the restoration of historic buildings, private homes and high-design spaces.
That same know-how is what we apply to terrazzo and bespoke pieces, as well as to anti-slip versions and special finishes for outdoor and wet areas.
