Hand-sculpted pieces
The shape, the aggregate and the colour: you choose.
A bespoke terrazzo or microcement basin is hand-cast in a one-off mould: you choose the shape, aggregate and colour from over 20 combinations. Made in our own workshop since 1975 and shipped across Europe and internationally.
Three ways to define your basin: the classic terrazzo texture, a bespoke colour from the simulator, or coarse-aggregate Terrazzo Stone.

Fine aggregate and blended tones. Twenty-three textures in the catalogue.

Scarpa RossoEvery one of these basins began as a one-off project. The same shape with a different aggregate; your exact dimensions; a colour that isn't on any chart. This is what's possible when you start from scratch — and what we can do with you.
Tell us the shape, the space and the mood. We'll come back with proposals, aggregate samples and a tailored quote.
Design my basin →Whether you choose a model or start from scratch, the path is the same — and it always ends in a single, hand-cast piece.
Start from a model in the collection or draw it from scratch: round, rectangular, with an apron front, pyramidal or with several bowls.
Over 20 marble and natural stone aggregates define the grain, colour and character of the terrazzo.
The cement is tinted to your chart: from bone and sand tones to terracotta, graphite or garnet.
Polished or satin; wall-hung, countertop or pedestal. Made to measure in our own workshop.
The questions we're asked most by people commissioning a basin, whether in terrazzo, microcement or concrete.
Terrazzo leaves the aggregate visible and is polished to a silky touch: veining, colour and grain are chosen piece by piece. Microcement gives a seamless, matt, warm surface with no joints or visible aggregate. Concrete (polished cement) has a more sober, architectural character. All three are cast solid, in a single piece.
Both. You can start from one of our models and adapt it, or from your own idea — together we define the shape, the aggregate grain and the colour. Every bespoke basin is designed for its space.
All of them. Countertop (sit-on) basins, wall-hung, freestanding column pieces, and basins built into the bathroom worktop. The waste position and fixings are defined before casting.
They leave the workshop with a water-repellent seal that makes them waterproof and hard-wearing. Day to day, mild soap and a soft cloth are enough; avoid abrasive or very acidic products, which attack any stone or cement surface. Well cared for, a basin like this lasts for decades.
It's made to the exact size of the unit or recess, with the waste and fixing points already resolved. It's a solid piece, so its weight is planned for on the support. We ship it crated and protected, across Europe and internationally.
