Made and vibrated in Sant Quintí de Mediona

Terrazzo is vibrated: the mix of cement, aggregate and pigment is poured into the mould and vibrated until the aggregate settles and the air escapes. Then it cures, is polished and is calibrated piece by piece. That is what sets it apart from a cement tile, which is cold-pressed.

We have been doing it this way since 1975. That is why every tile shows its grain and none is exactly like the one beside it.

Frequently asked questions

Which terrazzo models do you have in stock?

Seven in 60×60 cm — Frost, Ice, Pepper, Amber, Dune, Bone and Pearl — and the three Concret Diamond in 20×20 cm. The other 44 models in the collection are made to order.

How long does terrazzo in stock take to arrive?

Seven to ten working days, to site if you need it. It ships straight from our factory in Sant Quintí de Mediona.

What if the model I want is not in stock?

We make it for your project. The lead time is 10 to 12 weeks, covering manufacture, curing, finishing and delivery.

What is the difference between terrazzo in stock and made-to-order terrazzo?

The material and the process are the same. In stock you get ten references already made, with the aggregate and colour you can see. Made to order, you choose the aggregate, the cement colour and the format in the terrazzo configurator, and we make it for you.

Is terrazzo vibrated or pressed?

Terrazzo is vibrated: the mix of cement, aggregate and pigment is poured into the mould and vibrated until the aggregate settles and the air escapes. Then it cures, is polished and is calibrated piece by piece. The three Concret Diamond are the exception: they are vibrated and also pressed, because they start from a cement tile base.

Is it sold by the piece or by the square metre?

By the square metre. You enter the m² you need and the basket rounds the quantity to full boxes, which is how the material leaves the factory.

Can I order a sample before deciding?

Yes, and it is free. Order one from the page of each model, or up to five from our samples page, up to five. You can also see them in person at our Barcelona showroom.
