Yes, but it is advisable to seal them well and clean them with neutral products to avoid grease/acid stains. At Mosaics Torra we always recommend protecting the cement tiles by using our products specifically designed for this purpose.
Yes, for areas with direct water it is advisable to assess anti-slip and a suitable sealing system. The TorraStone® treatment that we apply from the factory is an innovative finish in which Mosaics Torra offers the only certified non-slip cement tiles.

Yes, if the encaustic cement tile is ordered with the traction TorraStone® by Torra Mosaic Factory, which is compatible with outdoor use and takes into account slipperiness and climate (ice/snow).
Avoid acids and aggressive cleaners (descalers, acidic “cement removers”) because they can attack the cement/limestone. From Torra Mosaic Factory we recommend you use our cleaning and maintenance products for cement tile floors specifically designed for that purpose.
For most indoor applications, it is advisable to seal after installation to reduce pore size and facilitate maintenance.
