We are Mosaics Torra. Making by hand since 1975 in Sant Quintí de Mediona, near Barcelona: cement tiles, terrazzo and bespoke pieces — basins, worktops and furniture — with the craft of always and the design of today.
At Mosaics Torra we are manufacturers: we make cement tiles, terrazzo and bespoke pieces by hand. The same craft we have practised since 1975, now also in worktops, basins and furniture.
Our story began in 1975, when the Torra family started making cement tiles by hand, with metal moulds, pigment and cement. Since then we have kept the essence of the traditional cement tile floor alive and adapted it to today's needs.
Today, as Mosaics Torra, we combine decades of experience with technical and aesthetic innovation, and we have brought that same craft to terrazzo and to bespoke pieces.
All our cement tiles are made by hand, tile by tile, by expert craftsmen. We use original metal moulds or faithful reproductions of Modernista designs, following the traditional process. It is the same craft with which we shape terrazzo and bespoke pieces: character, strength and a unique beauty in every piece.
Our work draws on the Modernista tradition of the early 20th century, when the cement tile floor became an essential element of Catalan architecture. Today we continue that legacy by working on the restoration of historic buildings, private homes and high-design spaces.
That same know-how is what we apply to terrazzo and bespoke pieces, as well as to anti-slip versions and special finishes for outdoor and wet areas.
